Bristol Classic Car Show 12,000 visitors move next year’s Bristol Classic Car Show to May
The 30th anniversary of the UK’s longest running classic car show was a tremendous success, and we have decided to keep the show in May next year. The Footman James 30th Bristol Classic Car Show was postponed in February, due to snow at the Royal Bath & West Show Ground, and rearranged as a three-day event over the early May Bank Holiday weekend. The show featured 200 vintage and classic cars, an auction and a spectacular feature of those classics driven in by visitors. With the better weather, we could make more of the outdoors, and this proved a popular draw for around 12,000 visitors. Many hundreds of visitors drove to the show in their own classic cars, and these proved a particular success. We were also pleased with the market square feature for traders, and will definitely be expanding that area, whist also looking to expand our classic car boot area for private sellers of real autojumble. All things considered, the show benefits tremendously from the better weather and outdoor attractions. As the weather in February can be a hit-or-miss affair, we have decided to move the event to May next year, and are currently in talks with the venue to secure a specific weekend.
